Hello, I have a 2024 chevy equinox bare roof. Im looking for a roof rack and roof top cargo carrier to use for camping so it would need to be durable and waterproof. Ill likely keep that rails on all the time so something that is quiet will be important. Do you have any recommendations for both the rails and cargo carrier? Thanks so much!

Both the Thule and Yakima brands are higher-end product lines so you can be confident that you'll be getting kits that will live up to the potential. I will say that none of the roof cargo boxes are "waterproof", rather they are weatherproof. If the box was to be submerged then water would get in, but for a nicer box like the SkyBox NX 18 the only way that some water may get into the box is if you're driving in a really bad storm with a lot of rain and high winds.
