Question:
I am relocating a Reese 5th wheel hitch from a 2006 Ford F-250 to a 2010 Ford F-250. Can I use my 43 inch rails with the Curt C-16424 brackets? Thank You

Expert Reply:
We strongly advise not mixing brackets and rails from 2 different manufacturers. The reason is they have not been tested together so compatibility cannot be guaranteed and the capacity will be unknown. If you had Curt brackets before then yes, you can use the # C16424 brackets on the 2010 Ford F-250.
But if you have Reese rails you will want the Reese brackets, # RP50082.
The hardware to attach the rails to the brackets is meant for one time use so you will want to replace it with # RP58430.
