Question:
I am looking at the clamp type truck camper brackets for my 2017 f250 . The literature says they will fit but it also says they need 2” of clearance between the sidewall and lip of of the bedrail but I measured it and looks like I have 1.75 inches instead of 2 . Will they work? Thanks , John.

Expert Reply:
Due to you only having the 1-3/4" measurement under your bed rails you are going to need to go with tie downs like the TorkLift # TLF2022A & # TLF3008A. These are much better than the Brophy # HSWB as they are going to attach to the steel frame rather than clamping onto your aluminum bed.
