Will the Curt Class I Trailer Hitch # C11222 Fit the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro LT or SS

does the Curt Trailer Hitch for the 2012 Camaro by Chevrolet Curt Trailer Hitch Code: C11222 work for both the SS and LT? Is there one that works with ground effects ?

I spoke with my contact at Curt and he said they have not had any fit issues with the LT or SS models of the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro and the Curt Class I Trailer Hitch, # C11222, but we do not have any hitches that will fit models with ground effects. The reason for this is that trailer hitch manufacturers have determined that models with ground effects will require an excessive amount of trimming and cutting to install and use the trailer hitch.
