Availability Of Propane Tank Fitting Used In European Countries

Question:

Hello, Our company is trying to source fittings to the ~20lb range portable propane tanks used in some of the European countries such as Ireland, UK, France, and Norway. We would like to be able to hook up to the native countrys propane tank and adapt to the same standard US fitting every time. Is this possible with 1 or 2 fittings? Do you sell this type of fitting?

Hello Jeff. The propane pigtails and fittings we offer use the standard 1/4" male NPT and female type 1 fittings which are standard here in the USA. I am not 100% sure what kind of fittings are used in other countries, but I can tell you with certainty that everything we carry is made to the USA standard 1/4" NPT. Your best bet for that would be to try a propane supplier based in one of the countries you mentioned.
