What is the height of the hitch from the ground to top of hitch when installed

Hello Scott, thanks for reaching out. You have a 2005 Durango, right? We have not had the chance to install the Curt # 13297 on a 2005 yet. We did install one on a 2006 Durango, and on that vehicle the height of the hitch was 21" when measured from the ground to the upper inside edge of the hitch. Meaning the bottom of the hitch would be like 19" from the ground. Your 2005 will be very close to this as long as everything is still stock.
