Question:
Any tips for getting the gray base pads to seat properly? Took them off to clean and they no longer lock firmly in place. Likely will lose them at highway speeds because they’re not secure.

I reached out to Thule for some help with this as I have personally never taken out the Base Pads # TH69DH, # TH79DH from the Thule SUP Taxi XT Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier # TH810001. They said first they were surprised you were actually able to get them all the way out to clean. Their recommendation for getting the pads to fit all the way back into the base is with using some warm soapy water. Then you should be able to press the pads all the way back in firmly from the center of the pad.
