Are Adjustable Crossbars Available for a Roof Rack System on My 2012 Mazda 2
Updated 05/05/2014 | Published 04/29/2014 >
Question:
Do any of the roof rack manufacturers have a system that allows for some adjustment to crossbar height? my car has a slightly sloping roof, 4 mounting points, no rails . . . Im wondering if theres anything that would enable me to mount the crossbars so that theyre level with one another front to back. Thanks!

All of the crossbars that are offered are made to fit numerous style vehicles and do not allow for adjustments in height.
I spoke with my contact at Yakima as to why manufacturers do not make adjustable crossbars. He said that they really are not needed. The height difference which is created due to the slope of the vehicle's roof is so minimal that it doesn't alter the function or carrying ability.
