Help With Fitting SumoSprings Trailer Springs To a 2022 Bighorn 3970FB With Over 4-1/2" Wide Plates

2022 Bighorn 3970FB overslung tandem axial has plates wider than 4.5 inches. Is there a Sumo kit that I can buy to accommodate? If not, I can modify and weld the SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs to the top plate of the spring bracket. Item SS26MV Thanks Steve

Well Steve, since the SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs # SS26MV will not fit spring plates wider than 4-1/4" your best option is going to be to simply replace your spring plates. I believe your 2022 Bighorn 3970FB is going to have a 3" diameter axle so 4 of the Plates # TRTP300175 would allow you to bolt up the SumoSprings.
