Troubleshooting Reese M5 Feet Won't Fit Puck System on 2022 Ram 3500
Updated 05/07/2024 | Published 05/06/2024 >
Question:
I can’t get the legs to line up at all!!!! The feet won’t lock into the puck system without beating them to death and I’m not trying to bend the handles. Any pointers?

Hi Richard; your feet or the pucks probably aren't perfectly straight. What you can do is loosen the castle nut on the feet of your # RP37FR. You should be able to get it in once it can move around a little and align properly. After you get it in retighten the nut.

Handles

I was able to get it but on 2 of the handles to lock it in there is a lot of “slop” like the flat edge that goes under the castle nut on the handle itself is really loose and flops around against the bolt like the holes are a lot bigger than the bolt so I’m concerned about that.
