Tonneau Cover With Crossbars and Bike Racks for 2023 Ford F-250

Question:

Hi, I am looking at a solution for a tonneau cover, crossbars, and 2 bike carriers on my 2023 Ford F250 SD with an 81” bed. I am looking at the Pace Edwards Ultragroove as the tonneau cover and am wondering whether this rack system would be compatible, and which bike carriers to attach to the crossbars would be recommended was looking at Thule Upride. If you have any suggestions which would be more economical and would still work, not married to anything but the truck. Thanks!

Hi Steven; it looks like you're well on your way to a complete setup. The Pace Edwards UltraGroove # PE39QJ (Aluminum and Vinyl) and # PE36QJ (Aluminum) is compatible with the # RRVA180B-RRRLT600. All you need to do is add the Adapter Kit # RRT-FK1 to fit the UltraGroove rails. You may also want the # RRVA-LEC4 for added security with the metal lock cores.

Rhino-Rack makes a solid product and keeps the cost down compared to something like Thule and Yakima. These aren't the quietest crossbars around but it won't really matter since you're mounting them over the truck bed.

The Thule UpRide # TH599000 is another great choice for this setup. The design of the wheel mount keeps the bike really secure and is easy to use. It can be clamped on or secured in the top channels of the Vortex crossbars. You can also add locks to the integrated cable and the front mounting assembly on both racks using # TH450400.
