Question:

I am interested in the BAKFlip MX4 for a 2019 Ram 3500 Dually with an 8 foot bed and will be purchasing the BAKBox 2 as well. Pictures indicate that it moves on the rail, but how far does the BAKBox slide on the rail? Does it slide from under the bulkhead end of the cover out a few feet to the 4th fold or can it slide the full length of the bed to the tailgate? I submitted a question on the MX4 cover as well. The BAKBox 2 Collapsible Truck Bed Toolbox # BAK92201 will be in a fixed position once installed. The bolts for the brackets are tightened down on each side to keep the toolbox in place. You can install it anywhere along the rails underneath the BAKFlip MX4 # BAK48204. Since the rails run to the tailgate it would be possible to put it there, but the recommended position is all the way forward toward the cab. If you want to move it just keep a Phillips screwdriver handy and you can loosen the bolts to relocate the toolbox as needed.
