Question:
I really could not make sense of the instructions. Im trying to install this harness on a 2003 Corolla. A video would be really helpful. Were there supposed to be plastic connectors with this? Was I expected to find and splice the proper wire? How do I find the proper wire in a clump of about 50 different wires?

The best way to find the correct wires is to use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993. In the instructions they have photos that show the access points where you should be able to locate the wires. It can be tedious but if you follow the instructions and use a circuit tester, it would make the installation a lot easier. The connection points are located behind the driver side taillights. Have someone sit in the front of the vehicle and engage the turn signals, turn of the headlights, or hit the brake pedal as you test the wires in the rear of the vehicle.
There should be 4 plastic wire connectors included with the kit.
