Troubleshooting Running Trailer Running Light Circuit Not Working on a 2014 Ford F-150

Question:

I have a 2014 Ford F150 STX with the seven way trailer plug alongside with the four-way plug so the running light is not working. I checked the fuse put a new fuse in and the running light is still not working. Everything else is so I, seven way prong in the four-way prong and I’m still not getting any electricity to the running light I replace the harness

It sounds like you have a connector like the Hopkins # 30955 currently installed on your 2014 Ford F-150. When you say the running light circuit isn't working is that just for the 4-Way, just for the 7-Way, or both?

If it's just one of the connectors lacking the running lights then it sounds like you need to get a new connector. However, if both are lacking the running lights then you have an issue with that wiring somewhere between the front of your vehicle and the plug the connector is tied to.
