Is Input OptiMate Smart Battery Charger # MA99JR AC or DC Power

Question:
It says this is a DC to DC charger yet the Specs say it is 100-240 VAC input. Im confused? Im looking for something to charge my car hauler winch battery from my truck 7 pin trailer plug. The trailer also has a brakeaway battery system. Thanks

Hey Ken, yeah that is an error for sure. The OptiMate Smart Battery Charger # MA99JR was designed to have DC power on the input side as well as on the output side.
