Help Installing Lippert Solid Stance RV Step Support Kit # LC96BJ on a 2020 Grand Design Reflection

Question:

SolidStance Step - 2020 GD Reflection 320MKS If installed on the front edge the step wont fold up due to he spring pins for the legs hitting the other step pic 1 Cant install up against the grab handle due to bolts not clearing which would require several washers, then the spring pins wouldnt clear. pic 2 Looks like the back of the lower step is the only place this really fits. pic 3. Please advise if I am missing something here. pic 3

The spring pins on the Lippert Solid Stance RV Step Support Kit # LC96BJ are supposed to face the other direction on the step. This ensures they will fold in past the other steps and also helps prevent your toe from getting caught up on the pin as you go to step up. The spring pin looks like it will easily clear the handle under your step since it sits further down near the ends.
