Can the Taylor Made Low Profile Fasteners for Removable Boat Windshields Be Bent?

Question:
I notice that the support rods have a slight bend where it attaches to the windshield p/n 3691607...My windshield requires a straight rod....can they be bent straight? and what are the dimensions of the same rods?

I am sure with enough force you can bend the Taylor Made Low Profile Fasteners item # 3691607. They measure ?1.94" x 4.88" x 0.75" in their current orientation.
