Do You Still Need Wiring Diodes On a 2023 Chevy Colorado When The Battery Is Disconnected?

Question:
In my flat tow app. 2023 Chevy Colorado a battery disconnect is required due to proximity front sensor operation. Quick Question: Are the Roadmaster Hy-Power Diodes required if the wire control signals come straight from RV over the rear lights of the truck via 4 wire harness cable ?

You will still need the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-152 to prevent power from back feeding into the wiring on your 2023 Chevrolet Colorado. Even with the power disconnected at the battery it can still travel back through the vehicle wiring and damage components in the system.
