Rather than using the Malone MicroSport Trailer # MPG460G you found the Malone LowBed MicroSport Trailer # MPG464-LB will place the boat 8" lower. Either will need the Bunk Kit # MPG561 to carry your 1542 Jon boat. Both trailers are capable of carrying boats up to 20' long.
