Can Curt 4-Way Converter be Installed on Passenger Side on 2018 Ram ProMaster City

Question:

I have a 2018 Promaster City SLT. I was wondering if the Curt wiring harness module can be installed on the passenger side instead of driver side. I watched the videos for both the Curt and Tekonsha wiring kits and Tekonsha was module was on the passenger side. I cant tell if driver side brake light wires are long enough to reach from the Curt item picture. Also, battery connection points are different for Curt and Tekonsha in the Promaster City videos. Not sure why it matters but please advise.

Hi V, and you do need to install the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56270 on the driver side of your 2018 Ram ProMaster City. Like you mentioned, that's how the wiring lengths are configured attached to the converter box.

As for the battery connection points, I'm not sure, but looking at the videos it looks like the batteries terminals different for one reason or another. For yours, the positive and negative battery terminals should be labeled so just go with whatever your Ram's configuration is.
