Hey Marc, I contacted Buyers Products was able to get that measurement for you, and the distance is 2-3/4 inches from the center of the hitch pin to the gusset on the Buyers Products 2" Pintle Hook Mount # 337PM812.

For a compatible pintle hook and hardware use Pintle Hook # 337PH6 and # 3378520.
