Hi, everyone, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our Progressive Dynamics PD2100 Series marine battery converter charger. It's a 12-volt and 80-amp. So this converter charger is going to change the AC shore power to DC power, and that's gonna, in turn, quickly charge your boat's batteries. It will provide continuous power to your DC breaker panel and run 12-volt loads as well. So this will work with flooded, lead acid, AGM, and gel batteries alike.
It uses a three-diode isolated output, and that lets you charge three separate banks of batteries. It does use a four-stage charging system, and that monitors your boat's batteries as well and automatically begins charging when needed. It's also gonna provide rapid recharge and help extend your battery life. With its intelligent cooling fan, it's gonna reduce that thermal stress by maintaining a consistent operating temperature. Now, this does feature built-in safety features as well that's gonna protect your boat's electrical system.
You have a status remote pendant. That will manually select the charging mode, and then you've got all these different buttons there with the screen and whatnot. And of course, a mounting bracket here. Again, folks, 12-volt battery system. The rate of power output is 1,300 watts.
The amperage is 80 amps. Overall for some dimensions, I'm counting that bottom metal plate on here, 7 13/16 wide, 4 3/16 inches tall, and 10 15/16 of an inch long. The whole thing's pretty light, about 6 1/2, seven pounds, somewhere in that area. And that's gonna wrap it up, folks, for our quick look together. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
