Question:

I am having trouble with my trailer landing gear. They are the venture / lippert type and just seem under powered. It is on a 2019 forest river stealth 5th wheel 32’ Toyhauler. I bought it used so I don’t know the history but I am sure they have been replaced before and new brackets welded in. The threads are stripped in the lead jack. So that means they have gone bad twice in5 years not to reliable!I have looked at ultra fab and the Reese with individual motors but they both stick up to high without redoing the hangers which I don’t want to do. Is it possible to put another lead leg on the following leg side of my existing ones and put individual motors on them? Or is there any other brand with individual motors that they do not stick up so far?

Yes, you can put 2 lead legs on your 2019 Forest River Stealth so you can operate them individually, and for that you can use the following parts:

- Replacement Lead Leg # LC122533
- Landing Gear Motor # LC142178
- Replacement Gearbox # LC276602

This leg has a weight rating of 4,000 lbs and then it has the standard 15-1/2" inner and 17-1/2" outer measurements for the weld stops. If you have something different please let me know and I'll be happy to help you find a different solution!
