Question:

2015 BMW X5 with flush roof rails I have an existing set of Thule 760B bars with 460 foot packs that Id like to be able to use on the X5. These used to be the recommended bars for the X5. I see the old 4023 fit kit, however, is discontinued. Does the 6007 also work with these parts I have, or must I purchase an entirely new setup which would honestly steer me away from any Thule purchases going forward and not your fault!. Thanks!

I am sorry but the Thule 6007 Fit Kit # TH186007 will not be compatible with your Thule 460 Podium Feet # TH460R. The 4023 kit has been discontinued for almost 3 years now so unless you can find one secondhand, getting an entirely new setup will be your only option. If you want something other than Thule that is completely understandable. We suggest the following options:

Personally, I really like the Rhino Rack brand roof racks. They are very comparable in quality to the premium brands like Thule and Yakima. Setup is going to be very straightforward. Also the Aero Bars are designed to be universal, so they could easily be transferred to another vehicle, dependent on length. Also their pricing is usually very competitive compared to other brands.
