I have a 2017 tundra crew max with a backflip mx4 tonneau cover. I’m looking for a rack system that is compatible that also allows me to open my tonneau cover while installed.

The 2017 Toyota Tundra CrewMax has a 5.5' bed correct? If so, a great option for a ladder rack is the TruXedo Elevate Truck Bed Rack System # TX96NV. This is made to be compatible with many tonneau covers, including your Bakflip MX4 and it will allow you to open and close the cover normally with the rack installed.
