Will The Curt C77VV Trailer Hitch Prevent Hands Free Liftgate Sensors From Working
Updated 01/03/2024 | Published 01/02/2024 >
Question:
I got the C77VV hitch you sent and it looks like it might keep the hands free lift gate from working. Will the hands free lify gate on a 24 Hornet GT Plus still work with your hitch installed?

Expert Reply:
Installing any trailer hitch, including the Curt # C77VV will block a portion of the sensors making it a bit harder to activate the hands free liftgate function. We recommend waving your foot around on either side of the trailer hitch receiver tube to find the new sweet spot for the sensors.
