To install the Curt Spectrum Trailer Brake Controller # C51170 in your 2015 Chevy Tahoe you'll first need to see if you have a factory tow package. If you do then you'll need the Curt Custom Wiring Adapter for Trailer Brake Controllers # C51451.
If you do not have the factory tow package then you'll need the Universal Wiring Adapter for Curt Trailer Brake Controllers # C51515 as well as part # 30955 for your 7-way connector. No plug will be present under the dash, but the needed wires should already be ran. You will connect the universal wiring harness to the vehicle wiring already present under the dash.
