Wiring Instructions for the JR Products RV LED Light Side Dimmer

Question:

Hello 2017 Jayco 27.5RLTS light switch has 4 wires. Black and White on the In Side and a Black and White on the Out Side. The new dimmer switch has 3 wires, red, black and white. How do I attach the new switch to the old wiring. Thank you.

I spoke with JR Products and they said for the RV LED Light Side-Slide Dimmer Switch # 37205-12315 the wiring goes as follows: White would go to the light, Black would be the ground, and Red would be the power.

However for hooking up to your trailer, we are not going to be able to tell you what goes to what because we don't know what those wires went to previously, and what they powered.

So, in this case it'd probably be best to reach out to the manufacturer of the RV directly and see if they have any more info.
