Published 11/07/2023 >
Question:
Multiple questions regarding Item #PWXMR81V. Pewag makes both Brenta-C and Brenta-C 4x4 chains, which ones are these? Under the picture of the tire it says These replace XMR81V but the item number is XMR81V, please explain? The list of tire sizes this chain fits does not list 265/70/16, per Pewag website, the XMR81V fits a 265/70/16 is this correct? The listed link size states 3.2MM, Pewag website for item XMR81V says link size is 4.5MM, which one are you selling? Thank you in advance

The pewag Brenta C Tire Chains # PWXMR81V are the model Brenta-C 4 x4; these are the XMR81V which are the same thing they are just called the Brenta-C by pewag now. So same model, different name. I checked the pewag site and the # PWXMR81V do fit a 265/70-16, and you are correct they do have a 4.5 mm link thickness.
