Question:

I have a 2022 GMC Seirra 3500 HD trunck. I would be getting Northern Lite Camper that needs a soft rubber of 3/8. Which Truck mat would be a good option for me. I thinking of adding side protection in the back as well. went the Camper isnt on the truck and I dont have tailgate with me, what would be the opation to keep items in the back from flying out.

For full bed protection you would have to go with a carpet style cover like the BedRug # BR84FR (6-3/4' bed) or # BR74FR (8' bed). If you want to stick with a rubber mat you would need the Black Armour # BA78AR (6-3/4' bed) or Dee Zee # DZ87021 (8' bed) and wouldn't have side and bulkhead protection.

The camper fills the majority of space so there really isn't a great option for blocking off the tailgate side of the bed, but I have seen a few people cut a sheet of plywood to fit around the camper and fill in the gaps. If you went this route you'd just want to paint the wood with an exterior rated paint to prevent it from rotting.
