Is this Super winch model Sw1145230 universal? I have a 2018 Polaris Ranger XP900 that I would be mounting it on and am curious if this will take a special or additional mounting bracket for this UTV.

Yes, it is! The Superwinch Terra Series ATV Winch item # SW1145230 comes with a mounting bracket and screws for installation but you'll have to drill some holes most likely. For a custom fit bracket to install this winch on your 2018 Polaris Ranger XP900 you will want the Bulldog Winch Custom-Fit Steel ATV Winch Mount item # BDW15174.
