Question:
I bought a used trailer originally made by North Star. I am having a terrible time finding a wheel bearing hub cap that fits my hubs. I bought a 2 cap, and it is too small. I bought a 2 and 1/16 cap, and it is too big. The cap that came with the trailer had a rubber plug that could be taken out so the wheel bearings could be greased from the grease zerk that in the center of the spindle. I tried the North Star web-site, and almost everything is sold out. It is a fairly well built trailer that I have extensively modified to haul my Polaris Trail RZR. I do not know what to do next.

The 2" caps are highly common so it is odd that they would not fit. The only size we have between that and 1-1/16" is made by bearing buddy, part # BB2047SS. These caps measure at 2.047, which is just a hair under 1-1/16".
