I am trying to practice install these Konig chains TH04115250 with the car parked in my driveway. I cannot get the red wire to go all the way under the tire. even with the chain fully tensioned. Am I doing something wrong? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you

No, you are not doing anything wrong at all. It sounds like you have actually installed The Konig Chains # TH04115250 correctly. Since the car is parked on what I assume is concrete, it is normal for the red wire to stay on the outside of the tire. If you were to pull the vehicle forward slightly the red wire would slip into place. This is actually part of the design of these chains- they self tension as you drive. Now we do not recommend driving or even pulling the car forward while on concrete as this can damage the chain.
When you get to a "chains required" section of road, you will repeat the process exactly as you just did, and simply start driving to complete the install.
Another scenario is that if you are installing these with the car parked on top of snow, sometimes the red wire can cut thru the snow, and it will go into place without you having to move the car at all.
