Explain why the EV87FR needs such a big opening compared to actual size

The reason why the Everchill RV Refrigerator w Freezer Drawers # EV87FR cutout is quite a bit larger than the fridge itself is for ventilation and heat dissipation. The installation calls for at least 11.8" of free space on the top, 3.9" on either side, and 2" on the back for heat dissipation space.
