Is there a Goosebox or 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Adapter for a Turning Point Pin Box?

Question:

I have a 2023 Reflection 150 series. I have the standard hitch that comes with the trailer and a Curt 16K hitch. My coach is 10,000lbs I would like to switch to the gooseneck hitch. Is there a compatible hitch and pin box for my unit and will it void the warranty?

Thanks for the information! I just spoke with my rep at Lippert and your 2023 Reflection 150 series has a Turning Point pin box. There is only one option to replace a Lippert, which is now Curt, Turning Point. You will need the Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box item # GY48GR.

The Gen-Y Pin Box item # GY48GR is not covered under Lippert's chassis warranty. The Reese Goosebox is the only one that is and Reese does not make one to replace the Turning Point. This chassis warranty is only valid for one year from the date of purchase if you are the original owner.

If you decide to go ahead and replace your pin box with the Gen-Y you will also need the Safety Chain with 2 Hooks for Gen-Y 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box item # GY49GR. These are legally required to tow with a gooseneck connection and are not included with the pin box.
