Troubleshooting 2006 GMC Sierra Extendable Mirrors Not Working
Updated 03/31/2014 | Published 03/30/2014 >
Question:
The mirrors on both sides quit working, I can not adjust mirrors as well as the turn arrows are not working. The owners handbook has no information as to fuses or breakers for this accessory. I have found no fuses which is obviously burned. Suggestions?

Did you check the fuse box in the interior of your 2006 GMC Sierra? If you open the driver's door you should see a fuse panel on the side of the dash that would normally be blocked by the door when it is closed. The fuse and relay for the mirrors will be in that fuse panel.
Another possibility is that you have a bad mirror switch or the wiring to it has somehow gotten damaged.
