Does installing one of your hitches affect the warranty on a new car.?

Installation of a hitch like the Curt # C13243 on your 2019 Land Rover Range Rover Sport will not void the warranty. It is not uncommon for a dealer to tell a customer that it will void the warranty. However, consumers are protected under the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act. This allows aftermarket parts to be installed without warranty issues unless the installation or part caused a problem. The simple act of installing a hitch or other aftermarket part does not void the warranty.
