Does Trailer Wiring Have Diodes To Prevent Feedback From Getting to Tow Vehicle?

I have a Hoppy- Older 5 wire 1 is red to 4 wire trailer harness. My question is there a diode in the flat plastic piece to prevent feedback to rig when connected?

Typically trailer connectors will not have any diodes to prevent feedback going to the tow vehicle from the trailer. Your trailer wiring will typically have a fuse or other circuitry to prevent damage to the vehicle in the event of electrical feedback. We do carry a single wire Diode # RM-690 if you wish to install these and prevent feedback on your tow vehicle wiring.
