I am looking at the 7 1/2’ back drag blade and wonder what the measurement from the end to the center of the mounting first hole

On the back drag part # 3371311211 that you referenced the distance from the edges to the nearest mounting hole is 2-1/2 inches. The overall width is 90 inches.
