PackEm Ladder Rack Bracket Kit for Enclosed Trailers Item # PK-28B What is the static weight vs dynamic. My roof top tent is 183 so should i put two racks 4 Cross bars What is the statix weight of the bars. I see 100lbs per bars 200 total so it should be fine with 1 set but i dont mind over doing it since i am close to the max Static wewight is the key Thanks

For the Pack'Em Ladder Rack # PK-28B, 100 lbs per bar is the dynamic weight capacity. They do not list a static capacity for this kind of product. Most roof rack manufacturers have stopped listing static capacity of their roof racks altogether.

So with just 2 crossbeams you would be just under capacity. As far as static capacity, the biggest limiting factory is the weight capacity of the roof of your trailer. Basically if the roof can hold it, you will be good. If the manufacturer lists a roof capacity you will want to stick to that. Otherwise, it is up to your discretion how much weight you want to put up there. Doing an additional set of crossbars certainly would not hurt.
