Can Extension Cable for Go Power Portable Solar Kit Replace Original 12' Cable

Question:

The cord that came with my portable solar panel was not soddered into the plastic housing and the wires came out. After much time and effort trying to get the wires back into the connector to get a good connection I can’t do it without breaking the plastic housing. Can I just use this “extension” power cord instead of the one shipped with the panel as that one one is broken ? I figure a longer one would be helpful anyways !
