Question:

We have the 100w GP66FR with the 12 ft. cord. we want to get the 30 ft. extension cord. How much voltage would we have using this extra cord?

Expert Reply:

The Go Power DuraLite Portable Solar Panel with Digital Solar Controller # GP66FR panel will still have a maximum voltage output of 19.6v. Because voltage can fluctuate slightly, I cannot say what the definite voltage output would be.

But what I can tell you is that the voltage drop using the 30' Extension Cable for Go Power Portable Solar Kit # 34270356 is not going to be enough to impact the # GP66FR. The # 34270356 uses #10 AWG wire, which is suited well for use with the # GP66FR to have a very marginal drop. You should not experience a significant amount of drop using this extension.
