Question:

I have a 2018 Toyota Highlander LE Plus AWD. I tow a small RV ~2500LBS ~300LBS hitch weight. I see ~ 1.75inch in the back of the Highlander after attaching the RV. I see the Sumo springs have been recommended in the past. Are these still the preferred product? I watched the installation video and it seems easy to install. One comment suggests that the springs might be tight on the Highlander. I have a floor jack and jack stands available to lift the back of the car. Is that enough to get the car up to install these helper springs? Thank you for your help.

You certainly can use the SumoSpring Coil Helpers # CSS-1145 on your 2018 Toyota Highlander LE AWD. They will help to beef up the factory springs and should help to minimize any sagging, and improve your ride quality while towing. This is definitely our top recommendation for enhancing the suspension on a 2018 Highlander.

They are fairly easy to install. A floor jack and jack stands will be just fine to get them installed. You just have to jack it up high enough to let the wheel hang. Basically the same as if you were changing a tire.
