How to Determine if Trunx Rooftop Box Fits Factory Crossbars

Question:

Hi. I have a 2004 Pontiac Vibe with the factory installed roof rack and crossbars. My concern is the crossbars which have a slight curvature to them instead of going flat across. Can I buy a rooftop cargo box from you that will work? Im looking at this one for instance. TRX44FR thanks

It is fine for there to be a slight curvature, as that won't affect the fit of the Trunx Rooftop Cargo Carrier # TRX44FR.

That said, you do still need to ensure it fits, and to do that you just need to take a couple measurements. First thing to do is measure the crossbars, as they need to be a maximum of 3-3/4" wide x 1-3/16" tall. The vast majority of factory crossbars are less than this but you do want to verify.

Next measure from center to center of your crossbars, and if it is between 22 inches and 30 inches you can use the Trunx # TRX44FR.
