Prong/Pin Functions For A 50 Amp RV Power Cord

Question:
what is the center pin for on a 50 amp motor home cord twist lock plug ? I want to replace my and i can not find one with the center pin. I am looking for a 30 foot with a 90 where it attaches to the motor home. Thanks in advance

Without knowing the exact brand/model of the power cord it's hard to say exactly what the pin's function is on your cord but I've gone ahead and written up a diagram of the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord w/ Pull Handle # A10-5025ED90 you were looking at to show what each pin/prong's function is so you can compare it to your cord. This cord is the longest option we currently offer with a 90 degree bend for the twist lock connection.
