Is this hose valve drinking water safe? If not, are there other valves that are drinking water safe?

The Valterra High Flow Shut-Off Valve # A01-0144VP that you referenced was not rated for drinking water from but I can't really see their being an issue as it's just plastic and doesn't have any lead components.
