Question:
I have the Rhino-rack 70” crossbars for my Retrax on my 2022 Ram 1500 Crew Cab and was wondering if I can use them for the naked roof clamps too. Everything is indicating 59”, but I do not know why it would matter.

The reason why 70 inch crossbars can't be used on your 2022 Ram 1500 Crew Cab and you need to use the 59 inch Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars # RRVA150B-2.
The first is the bars have a strip underneath that needs to be cut so the feet can slide in, and that strip doesn't go the full length of the bar. That means there won't be a way to attach the feet to the underside of the crossbar at the correct spots.
So if you want a Rhino-rack roof rack you would need the aforementioned 59 inch crossbars along with the Legs # RRRLKVA and Fit Kit # RR56QJ.
