looking at getting a 2015 jeep Cherokee trailmaster with roadmaster removable base plate and have a duncan DM7007 tow bar, what adapter would I need or would it be cheaper to get a roadmaster tow bar?

If you have the Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit # RM-521446-4 on your 2015 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk you can use the RoadMaster Base Plates to Duncan Adapter # RM-038. If you have the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-521446-5 you will need new Arms # RM-ARMS to change it to the crossbar-style arms.
I do recommend checking the condition of your tow bar to determine if it will need any repair. Depending on if the tow bar needs any repair it may make more financial sense to switch to the Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar # RM-522.
