Question:

I have a 2020 GLS 450. I was needing a hitch to put on just to have for like uhaul trailers and such, but I do have a flatbed trailer 7,000 lbs gross I tow occasionally. But what hitch would work for me.

For your 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLS 450 you need the following kit:

- Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Towing Kit # SH24GR

This comes with a 2" receiver for accessories, a ball mount with a 2" hitch ball, and wiring to get a 7-Way connection installed. Please note this will only fit your GLS 450 if it does NOT have the AMG Exterior Package.

Since it sounds like you'll be towing a heavier trailer I recommend installing a brake controller too. The Curt Echo In-Line Wireless Brake Controller # C79DR is great for your vehicle because it tees in and secures at the back of your vehicle so you won't be taking up any space inside your cab. If you do go this route then you need to swap out the 7-Way for the Hopkins Endurance # HM47210 and Butt Connectors # DW05745-10 and # DW05744-5 so you get the US CAR connector that matches with the Echo In-Line.
