My mother has a 2015 Chevy Sonic LT, 5 door. She also has a Commander flat tow system but no face plate for her car. What face plate product is recommended for this vehicle and system? Thank you

I assume by Commander you're referring to the Demco Commander Tow Bar # DM9511012. To connect to this tow bar you would need the etrailer Classic Base Plate Kit # e98963.
You'll also need a tow bar wiring kit like the Roadmaster Smart Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Wiring Kit for Variable Voltage LED Tail Lights # RM38FR or part # RM26FR if you have incandescent lights.
Since you'll have to remove DLIS FUSE 1 in order to flat tow the Sonic I recommend installing the Roadmaster FuseMaster Fuse Bypass # RM76511 so that you can disable/enable it with the flip of a switch.
For the braking system I recommend the Brake Buddy Select 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System # HM39524. This portable braking system can be easily installed and removed for storage in just a few minutes. It comes with a remote to notify you when the brakes are being applied and allow you to change your brake settings from the cab of the motorhome. It also includes a charge line kit to help keep your Sonic's battery charged.
